Crown moulding angles

How do you figure out the angle of the v-nose in a Titan CT when installing crown moulding? Or has anyone already figured this out?

I don't have any personal experience with crown molding, but... Tommy Silva (of "This Old House" fame ) runs the first piece all the way into the corner, then uses a pencil compass to trace the joint line onto the adjoining piece (held back a bit). He then copes the joint out with a coping saw. By taking a little more material from the rear of the piece he gets a nice crisp line on his mark and the two pieces fit really tight together. The method results in an overlap for a tighter joint. Any small gaps are less visible with the material behind (as opposed to trying to butt the pieces together where any gaps look like deep dark holes. And you don't need to know the exact angle. Outside corners are another story.

That was going to be my suggestion... Look into coping. You'll need a special coping saw of course, but it give great results.
