Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Excited to Start!

Postby Mercurythunder » Tue Apr 24, 2012 11:21 pm

We got our trailer a few weeks back and are starting to put things together for the conversion. Time has been limited so I'm working on some of the things I can start and stop without too much concern. I don't want to insulate and wire until I have a solid weekend open to do it. I had already built the face frame and shells for the cabinets before the trailer arrived so this weekend I started making the doors. There will be 11 cabinet doors in all each with an outdoor theme. I had fun with the free hand work with the router. I'm learning a lot about stain too!

Take a look in the gallery. Also thank you to everyone who posts their ideas. I have learned so much.

Sounds like a good start. Will you post pics as you go?

So what is the accepted practice in regards to pictures? Are we supposed to put them in our gallery or into the thread?

Nice incised/routed artwork on your doors there!

Mercurythunder;
Great looking custom doors, that what it's all about. making it a totally custom one of a kind rig that's all yours.
You have a good question on posting pictures, I don't have any pictures of my trailer project in my album, they are all in one long post.
I'm not sure which way is correct, no one has ever said anything.... :?

Show us a picture of the router you used.

I think having the pictures in your post makes it more enjoyable to look at and read
when this question came up some time ago it was determined posting into your running post
did not take up more space plus like I said it makes your post better.

Here are some of the other cabinet doors. I'll carve the deer this week.
