Got another little item off the "punch list" today. I wanted a 110VAC outlet outside, but I didn't want another hole in the side, so I decided to put an outlet under the dinette seat and make an access hole to drop out the extension cord. I daisy chained the outlet with the GFCI circuit so I am good for outside power. This way I can put on any size extension cord I want or etc.

I made the access plate from a spring loaded outside outlet cover and just cut a notch and added some foam insulation to accommodate the cord with the lid closed. I had a much bigger cord drop , but I want to leave the space open in case I ever decide to add that 4th battery.

I store my Mr. Buddy heater and the electric heater under the seat, so I will need to move some stuff around to drop the cord when needed.

The outlet on the front of the seat is where I plug in the space heater when I use it. It is central and I can sit it out of the aisle way at night just under the dinette.

The way you modified the outlet cover is quite clever … way to go.

And the rest of your trailer, especially the tidy electrical devices, looks simply AWESOME!.

Zero Gravity Chairs for the Mrs. and I. Just sayin. :-)

A good place to stretch out and relax to watch TV. I think I be able to keep one deployed when I travel solo with the bike.

Picked up this 40W folding solar panel. It puts out 4A for charging phones and tablets, but will also charge an SLA battery. It folds up small and will go in the backpack for the motorcycle camping trips or for my portable field radio setup.

It seems to work well in full sun... charging the table fast!

I love gadgets! This has a built in charge regulator.

This link will take you to a website that will show you what I have. I actually just bought it on Amazon for $79.00, but it appears I got the last one and they removed the link. The link now takes you to the 19W version for $39.00. I can't find the one I just bought anywhere on Amazon or E-bay? Really strange?

Amazon link... not the one I have, but what the link now takes you to? I have the 39V version.

Help me out with the math here.
I know you meant 39wt and 19wt at 4a and 2a, But I read "19w at 5v" in the ad. 19/5=3.8v so call it 4a. Dual output= 2a ea.? So, they are for phones etc., The SLA you referred to is 12v? Could it charge a 12v at 3a? (39w/12v=3.25a) If so, you could almost run a rv reefer? 12v at 4a when running.

I think it is about ~2A max per port. Not going to get 4a into any one port on this. On the 12V-18V Output, I have to run that through a Solar Charger. That is the way I read it. Still testing it. Good for charging smartphones and etc. and trickle charge to SLA of ~2A is all I think. Not going to run a CTC for sure.

I wouldn't get anything less than 100W for your reefer. They never put out what they advertise in any case.. Those specs are always under "ideal" conditions.

I got it primarily for tent camping to keep the electronics charged. I think it will do that.

The specs for my my Renogy 100 watt panel say, based on 18.9 “optimum operating volts”, the panel generates “optimum operating current” of 5.29 amps and “short circuit current” of 5.75 amps. After that 18.9 volts passes through my charge controller and is transformed into approx. 12 volts, I think I get about 4.5 amps pushed into my battery (based on Indiana sun intensity).

OK, that's good info. 5a/100wt of panel. Sound about right? I can relate to that.
Thanks,

I will get a shot after dark, but I got the LEDs under the awning installed. I can dial up any color I want. I like them.
