Lots of lighting displays at Sturgis this year. I kinda liked the ones that fade from one color to the next, but I can live without the strobe effect.

flboy,
I must have overlooked the page on your awning. It looks nice! Did you install it yourself or have a dealership install it? That's one item my wife and I would really like to eventually get.

Yes, these lights do all that jazz too. I just like a nice steady color..

I installed it myself. They are not really that hard to install. The awning is nice. I like to park in the sun for the solar panels, so an awning is needed for the shade.

We have a storm coming. I had to roll up the awning. :-( I'll have to do that another time.

Another small item on the punchout list. I lined the closet so all the wires and the backside of the switches and etc. are not exposed. I suppose I'll paint that plywood someday when I do the interior finish coat. ;-)

I will add a cover over the batteries this week to put a floor in the closet. !We need a place for shoes and things like that.

I still have the wires for the tank monitors hanging there in the closet. I didn't get those hooked up yet. They are still on the list... but just not on the top.

Big 8 day trip coming up in two weeks. Not much more to do. I just have some more interior LED back lighting to install and I need to line the cabinet shelves over the dinette on inside.

Never done, I say.

I messed up my ladder on a Palm Tree in my backyard getting my Trailer out. It is a tight spot and I was doing it without a spotter. In any case, I bent it up some and you know how aluminum is.. it does not bend back well. I just ordered a replacement and it came it today. A $78.00 mistake.. I am going to cut that tree down this weekend while the trailer is out of the yard. :x

Guess I'm not the only one that destroys my own stuff.

Yep, those palm trees will sneak right up and getcha'. Now an oak tree, well you can usually hear them coming. I'm afraid I'd have to put that palm down. They're a menace to society.

McDave

PS. On the plus side, that is a shiny new ladder. A little bling never hurts. Unless you're a palm tree...just sayin'

I feel your pain! I backed into a camp space marker on the maiden voyage and dented my fender. I even had a spotter. Well I thought I did. :x

flboy, Howdy;

Awww, go ahead and keep the trailer in the yard while you cut down the palm tree,
so it can see the vengance you reap upon the tree that damaged it.
To see how good ya are with a chain saw tap a chunk of 2X2 in the ground and see if
you can drop the palm on it. , :worship: , :frightened: , :D .

Hank, I am pretty good at felling a tree, but not brave or confident enough to risk the trailer. That would be ugly. I have way too much blood and sweat into that thing. I might try the 2x2 challenge. All that would hurt is my pride or my shed and fence. ;-)
