Good advice!

I haven't built the bed yet. It will fold up to a sofa across the back. It is 19 inches off the floor, and the back rest will be 19 inches above that, so 38 inches total height, with a ceiling height of 66 inches. My plan is to use the area under the bed as storage, and also to be able to pull the bed out of the trailer when I am using it as a cargo hauler. With that goal in mind, all of the bedparts are mounted to the rails. The rails will stay in the trailer, with all the bed platform removed with a couple of bolts.

I will include a sketch of the bed, as soon as I get one drawn up, on my build thread.

It sounds like you will be folding the bed up like they do in toy haulers if it is that high. Maybe you could cantilever the frame so it drops as it raises, or just fold up 2 halves to both sides???

Thanks!
Meach

It's almost complete just need a matress from Wally World 4/2 and a tounge box. But for now we are ready to go camping and enjoy Becky's labor, trust me she did 99% of the work I did the cutting while I was at work she would paint it and install it she made the curtins and pillow cases. She made the screen for the back door didn't she do a good job.

Looks great! Do you have any shots of the outside, now that the windows are installed?

Looks really good, BC. I like the paint on the door, and I think I'm going to have to copy the screens. They look really nice.

Nice one.

Your silver is giving me an idea. A question came to mind about how long my blue paint will look good. And how to deal with painting considering all the rivets. Maybe I can get sandblasting and go with silver.

Have several years to go though.

I've also thought about a removable galley. Probably won't make one, but still thinking about it.

Would want one with a water tight top that could be left outside and locked shut and cabled to the trailer too.

:)
