Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

That looks like a great trailer to start with. I also like the start of your conversion. I put up 1/4" T&G bead board paneling up in my trailer and I am very pleased so far. You could check it out in my latest video, I have some pretty good pics of it. It was super easy to install over the foam insulation. Well, that's my two cents worth. Keep up the great job adn Happy Camping! :applause:

davidniebeling do you have a hyperlink or shortcut to your video. This sight is hell on searching for some things. Just my opinion. I love the site but sometimes I have issues with the search portion of the website.

Give Google a try: Just type in your search terms followed by site:tnttt.com For example, Aerodyne site:tnttt.com

I like the idea of using google to search for stuff. I'll have to remember that. I just kind of stumble my way around the site, lookin' for cool stuff! :?

You answered my question. I thought your video build was on tnttt.com that was why I didn't use google. Thanks for the reply.

ok so its been a while since I have posted and I haven't done anything more. Money has been tight since I am unemployed but I think I have a job now so just waiting for my offer letter. So now my budget will be good and I can get my conversion completed. One thing I noticed walking around my trailer is that where I had issues taking out the plywood had some very minute tears in the seal on the outside. So I resealed that area real good and it is back to standard. Now with that done I have noticed a small leak at the cargo door. When you close the door the black foam sealer that seals the door hits a screw head and I think the water is going in there. I thought about putting a strip of the same material on the door above that to help for a better seal. Anybody have any suggestions?

Go for it. Should work as long as there is room to attach it.

Dadgum it! I cut that board 5 times and it's still too short!

Hello everyone. It's been a long time. I have been really busy with the new job. Working 6 days a week and 60-70 hours a week so little time to do anything for me but I got to do some today. Spent about 10 hours on it today and the results are in the pics. I used flooring for my walls because of it's durability and it's easier to work with than a whole sheet of plywood. I accidently pierced the shell once but that can be fixed. The style is Summer Pecan and you get 6 pieces per box for $14.99 a box at a discount store here in Ohio. Did the ceiling also but I am trying to decide whether I will do the floor as well. Enjoy the pics.

So its been a while. Been working and had no spare time. But I ordered 2 windows from LilBear Tag-a-longs website. Once those come in I will put them in with the help of my dad and I will definitely share the pics. I fixed the leak at the door by grinding down the screws to flat because that was where the leaks looked to be entering. And so far no leaks.

So because of the curvature of the nose of my Homesteader Aerodyne I decided to build a wall in the front which I may use as a little bit of storage. It turned out pretty good I think. Next I will get my LED lights checked because I think my job of wiring my truck was incorrectly installed or defective. Then its time to put in the windows and install my carpet. I ordered a small foldable chair/bed from Walmart.com to use in the trailer. Cost me $83 online. I will post pics for those that are interested in my build. I am getting close to finishing my basic build FINALLY!

Here it is with the windows in. Just need to trim the windows inside and a few more trim boards in the interior.
