It was 4 years ago and I can't remember what I paid. I ordered them online from Lowes and then picked them up at my local store.

I looked on Lowes' website but could not find it. I looked at Home Depot and found something similar http://www.homedepot.com/p/32-sq-ft-Birch-Beadboard-Paneling-352609/100042477?N=bqpj#.UbES5Jyd2ys

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

they are 39.00 a sheet I was in lowes the other day and saw them at that price,I thought it was high but I really like it better than the other paneling they sell.
I was lucky and found some realy nice one's and I bought enough the cover the ceiling then I went back and wanted to buy more for the walls and the selection wasn't as good.
so I decided to use carpet on the walls instead and I think it turned out nicer and saved me some money.

I used a marine hull liner on my walls (see pics above). Lighter than carpet, will not mildew and easy to install.

I did not want all wood in the interior. The hull liner softens the look and keeps the sound down.

Planovet, the hull liner looks good and is reasonably priced. Is yours stretched and nailed or glued? Does the hull liner/carpet have a formaldehyde smell? Thanks!

I used a spray adhesive and it has held great. You have to practice a little to know how much to apply. Too much will make it too stiff.

No smell that I can discern :)

On the left side of their menu, you can order cut samples for around fifty cents. Cheap way to see the colors, feel what it feels like and smell it. If not, let me know and I can send you a sample of what I have left over.

Very nice restful look, and the adhesive gave a smooth finish.

I am already partially done with prepping my walls for paint. So that is how i will finish them for now, but I am filing this away for a future wall upgrade. Thanks for posting it.
