MC,
Do you happen to recall what those bogies were listed under at Northern? I can't seem to find them.

I used 500# swivel casters at all four corners. If you go this route, I'd add a middle pair for better weight distribution.

This is another interesting idea. I had a few thoughts about this approach but would need to think out how to do it given the heavy weight of the trailer.

Thanks.

I also could not find them also using bogies or bogeys.

Here you go guys - categorized as casters. I went with the wide, solid steel wheel, non swivel, 4 inch diameter, because my boat trailer frame has u shaped cross-members with about 8 inch normal clearance. They are bolted to the lowest point and I added diagonal braces to the junction of the next cross-member and frame side rail.

Must have been on sale or clearance - pretty sure I only paid $10 each

Thanks MC,

For $10 each, I think I see how this could work. But if I go after the 8" ones ((I think I need that height - but will not know for sure until I receive the CT), but with today's prices, I think it will be pricey. I just have to wait and see and then decide which way to go.
