That's funny.. I went with a 7' over the 8' for the same reason. :-) I had to make some floor plan trade-off to get it al lin and not have too narrow of an aisle.

Yes we all have our own tolerance points. I do regret the very narrow aisle I have with the bunks going front to back. I am now not sure if the 7' one would not have been better for me. Oh well, there is no going back at this point.

I live in Kentucky and after about 2 years of research all over the net, I ordered and R&R trailer. They were easy to work with and built it to my specs, lights, plugs, doors etc. When I went to pick it up they gave me a tour of the factory. Everything, I mean everything I seen in their factory was aluminum. Trailer pulled great. I am almost complete with my camper 7 x16. Great trailer and great company.

I too was debating on size and finally settle on a 7x12, but chose a narrowed axle, so the fenders will only be 4". Great way to get the extra width without actually making it a foot wider.

Also got a V with a 24" door in the nose, with a plan in install a bulkhead and use the V for separate storage space.
