The Zen Of Minimalism

Postby Engineer Guy » Tue Nov 09, 2010 12:53 pm

Hee hee, good Thread goin' on here. I'm figuring on popping on some believable, temporary signage to go stealth whenever... The trick would be to remove it and get by Truck Weigh Stations w/o hassle.

That said, how about:

'Ricky's Rennet Supply'

'Cal's Carcass Removal'

'Asbestos Removal Specialists'

'Bambi's Mobile Sex Change'. The leading Clinic of same is located, of all places, here in Trinidad CO. No offense intended, or course, to anyone.

Unfortunately, the comment above re: 'who in their right mind...' doesn't include most Thieves. We just had another one go to The Big Breaker Box In The Sky - and severely injure his Wife - while they were trying to expropriate Copper from a LIVE, high kV Service Vault. Darwinism definitively demonstrated.

Glad to hear of all your progress, Don. Geekin' and tweakin' is great fun. I'm helping a pal go through/update his kewl lil 17' Wilderness Yukon circa 1988. Cleaner than clean off of Denver CL. She's about ready to tow, and our upgrades will keep his outings all-fun; low maintenance/troubleshooting. A super Floorplan/Bath & storage layout for a 14'x7' Box. Some new Bumper/Tongue/Wheel paint; Tongue re-layout; and electrical repair brought it back to clean, stock condition.

There's a pleasant 'Zen' to paring down and hauling around only what you need/what floats your unique Boat while boondocking.

If you want to keep people away from your stealth CT camper, here's an idea for some graphics that would keep even the most desperate crack head away:

Who in their right mind would break into (or park next to) a trailer full of dog poop?????

Vreihen,

Now THAT is a hilariously good idea! :applause:

If all else fails, carry some old bee boxes to set outside the trailer while you're gone. Years ago I read somewhere that a whole bunch of hives parked right outside the home has to be the best theft deterrent ever invented.

Another good idea! I could use the bee boxes to store galley stuff and other necessities under the bunk beds where I now store stuff in plastic tubs. Maybe throw in one of the bee boxes a looped recording of angry buzzing bees. :eyebrows:

GPW,

Not yet, due to other around the house projects like cleaning up a gazillion leaves that fall in my yard from my neighbors big trees and getting a start on winterizing the house, but I pretty well have it all figured out how to do it. It's just a matter of dropping by Home Depot to pick up the supplies I need and get off my duff to do it. Once I get the supplies I think it will be maybe a one hour or less job to git'r done.

engineerguy Marcy Bower will be moving out of Trinidad from what I hear, she is one of the more successful surgeons who does SRS and is herself a post-op transsexual (there are about 400,000 in the US out of 13.5 million transgender individuals in the US).

In The News...

Shadow Catcher ~

What you hear was reported in the Denver Post recently, so they couldn't print it if it weren't true, right? ;-0 Another account had the Surgeon staying in Trinidad for longer while commuting back to SF and Partner...

Some good CL deals down in the Steelworks town of Trinidad, and south of there. This Turquoise was my dear, departed Mom's fav color:

Actually I heard it from one of her clients a TS MD I know. I have met her a couple of times at conferences. My feeling is she is stuck in what I call the TS paradigm and can not understand that post-ops are only 4% of the community.
Were we not getting the last Mega-Mini I would be seriously looking into a CT.
