Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

If you are using a porta potti, then I suggest that you get Odorlos treatment for it. It is a calcium nitrate product and it works very well for eliminating odors. Calcium nitrate is what is used in sewage treatment plants to reduce odors. It isn't a perfume or formaldihyde. It is safe for septic and sewage systems. It works by switching the bacteria to producing odorless nitrogen gases instead of the very smelly sulfur based gases. For the small porta potties you only need a small amount, not the full 4 oz that is used in black water tanks.

Or you can mix your own using Calcium Nitrate fertilizer. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DVW ... ge_o06_s00

And I also add a little Oxy-Boost Oxygen Bleach as an oxygen source.

Thanks Bob.
I will check them out the next time I give in and go to WM.

BTW, went to WoodCraft (wood working store) and purchased wood working equipment vacuum inlet and hose adapters for my AC project. I am convinced that Shadow Catchers and the models by others works well. I have been testing the model for days and it holds the trailer temperature at what I set it at. In this case, 70 degrees for high 80 to low 90 degree days with no freeze ups that I can detect. Today I am testing it to see how low I can get it.

It has been almost a month since I posted updates. But I have been working hard trying to fit in work on the CT and all the other things that life throws at you.

I have just about finished all panels and here are five ready to be mounted inside.
Image

The shower walls with wood trim taped on to see how things go together.

I was able to fabricate a slot for the shower wall to slide over the shower pan riser.

This is the back inside wall.

And the Galley wall from the outside.
Image

The holes are ready for the AC duct work.

Edited to increase size of photos

Thanks Bob. But I am really not that good. There were a lot of mistakes made so far.
I wonder why my pictures were larger in my earlier posts. Guess I will go back and look at the steps I am taking to see if I am doing anything differently with my photo posting.

Bob, it appears that on the images that appear in large size you used the image tag method of posting the images. On the latest post with images you used the album tags method. I can see that if I go to a post and use the "quote" button. You should see the difference if you open a post with your edit button

Thanks MtnDon,
I suspected it would be something like that. I changed them to "img".

Busy stealing ideas from your build... What is the wood treatment on your back wall? Real wood? Laminate flooring? I am installing a screened, framed in port in my back wall (with a cover of some sort when I want to seal it up... Seems to really let the light/air in.)
Thanks.

Heres mine, so far. This was before I routered out the window on the left (port) side of the back wall.

As others have mentioned before, copying ideas is a great gesture of flattery.

I got the planks from Lowes. They are 32" long which was perfect for me as it left very little waste with my design. They did have 8 foot lengths which I wish I had used on the other wall surfaces seeing how these turned out. They are glued and braid nailed to a 1x3 " skeleton with foam for insulation. There was a little cupping, but not so much as to bother me. It sort of added to the rustic feel or look. I laid all surfaces on the floor with heavy weights on them until the TBII glue dried.
