Can't post pic's as I can't get taptalk to work - forum recognizes it's me but shows "you do not have permission "

I wanna see that awning. But for now, hows about some details? Make, model, color, Dealer and $$$$ ?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Ok a reinstalled app and reset everything.
McDave ,
The awning mechanism is from my mother's TT. I cut the tube to fit the new awning fabric I bought, on Amazon.
Drum roll please

Very Nice! I like that. An awning is on my list too. There is a Brand New RV center (Giant Recreation World) opening up about a mile from my house in a few months. I am hoping they have a Grand Opening Sale where they discount the awning and install for free.. We'll see.

An awning should make a huge difference in the cooling given it shades the entire side... and if you park right, the other side takes care of itself.

Good luck with that! Those things are pricey.
It took 3 people to do mine. One to feed the fabric in slot and one on each end of tube. But I'm sure if 2 people knew what they were doing 2 could, get it done. Obviously we didn't.

Good to see that your side door has that little wheel on top. Makes a difference.

Well, you've gone and done it now. You have given me a serious case of "Trailer Envy". I was pretty happy with my project till I saw where yours is at. That has turned out to be one Extra Deluxe unit you built there. How nice is it to have that awning, that matches your Deluxe paint job, and the deal you managed put together? That one piece alone is worth more than I have in my entire project! But no really, I'm happy for you. (grrrrr) Kidding. Those awnings make all the difference in overall comfort at the campsite. It's like doubling the size of your trailer with an outdoor room. I will be havin' one, someday, someway. You gotta' be proud of what you have done there. Heck, I'm proud of mine and it looks like something Jethro Bodine brought to town. But it works great!
Congratulations little Missy, job well done. Enjoy it, you deserve it.

Thank you so much! I would have preferred to have been well when I started and have had money.
I guess that's not really true though. It kept me "doing" and that kept me from letting my health issues take me away from having a life.
I may also redo my lift bed. If my boss helps with my idea.

So I had to help bottle even more maple syrup again today. We did a record amount bottling Saturday of grade B. Today we needed grade A in glass for an order so we bottled 37 cases. I wanted to camp there but I'm still having PT. I had some concerns I didn't get figured out before work today. I did haul my CTC to work. Awning is still attached to trailer!
My window came today !
I had my issue ordering it. First I wanted to go down and pick one up. Then I wanted to place a phone order - I had no internet were I was. I wasn't able to go pick up or order it that way. So... I was not to happy. I already knew that Vintage Technologies was the "best local" source. So that evening I found one on eBay and ordered it. But I left a message about being told to fax or email instead of phoning. Early the next day- yesterday I received an email it shipped. Then an email apology for not being able to phone order. Then I received a phone call apologizing (very busy) and asking if I still needed a window. I explained I had ordered from them through eBay,as I wanted it NOW() she explained that eBay was the fasts way of getting them other than picking them up! So it's here now to get it installed!
Anyone looking for Windows ? Vintage Technology - just don't call when your in a hurry!
Any pickup truck owners that do not have a tailgate assist I recommend Dee Zee.

Its sort of mine!

I got another helper late Saturday - or should I say I got an installer and I helped? Anyway I was thinking of everything but the window and marked it wrong. But it turned out to be a good thing just time wasted. The saw skipped and made 2 holes above my markings. When we test fit I realized what I did. The correct mark and cut removed the 2 holes
So I caught the meet up kayaking group this morning after dropping my TAZ at a campground. Got off the river and set up.

Then I burned my burger

Good thing I had another patty.

Setting out by fire burning coals and stick messy campers left on next site over. Image

Took a drive up to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Shore line. I was over dressed - dark jeans for an 82* day. I baked while Eli played!

My motorcycle has been in TAZ for 5 days. I decided before heading for home I needed to ride. So I unloaded it and headed out. I rode some dirt, seasonal, and state & national 2 tracks. Wish I'd had a map and more time to explore. TAZ's new window is great and I now want another.
I had a bad moisture issue Monday morning, but none this morning. I'm not sure what I did or didn't do. Learning process I guess. Since my window is curtain less I taped a towel up.

Looks like you are having a great time. Where did you put the window? It is nice to have natural light and to be able to see outside.
