Between super volcano Yellowstone, the Cascadia fault and the coming mini-ice age, I wouldn't want to buy vast tracts of land anywhere in the Northwest U.S. :?

Mexico is now out of consideration. The cartels got RPGs.

Greece is out. Canada is out for the cold. Arizona is out for the heat and drought. California is out for the population and drought.

How about that one-saloon town of Denio, Nevada? (Needs a trailer park.) :frightened:

:( It's that time of year out west again.

We've got smoke so thick in our valley that it's unsafe to go outside and breathe the air. :frightened:

Damn, we have hurricanes and now tornadoes but really not fire issues back here in the East. I guess we should be thankful for many things. Hope all our members fare well with these issues.

No camping until the October rains come. Everywhere is smoky, hot, dry and potentially hazardous in CA, OR and WA.

Sorry to see the fires that are going on in our neighboring states. It's heartbreaking to know how many homes are in the path of the ones in Oregon and Calif.

Idaho is drying quickly too, so it won't be long before there are some fires going here too. Also the jet stream is changing and the smoke is coming our way this week. Thankfully I am in Colorado this week so will hopefully be out of it.

Hope that they can get a handle on some of them, but with over 20 big fires going in California alone, resources must be stretched very thin. :(
