Dude, again you have the vision and I bet you have been there done that, Haven't you? Donnie you to and here I am now. I will trim up my counter edges with 1x2 or something like that I did that with the cabinets.
I did in fact try to router the edges of some scrap 3/4 and well if you were using paint it might be ok but it just seemed crap, dont know how else to describe it.
I wish I would have purchased a piece of mahogany or some solid piece, not laminated plywood in hind sight. But.
So this Is much more then I thought It would be. The C.T wall is not flush, It bows inward. ?

I dont know why but it messed up things a bit. Now I need to shim up the vertical folding hinges some. Uhhhgggggg. Saturday, again. But That will be it for a bit.
