Tommy, glad you got the power issues figure out. It is not l intuitive if you are not real familiar with electric theory. In any case, glad you got it all wired up and grounded without suicide cords and etc.. No one gets shocked that way.

It is not too late to insulate your ceiling. It will take a little more work now that you will have to work around an interior wall, but it can be done.. Would be a good thing to go in this state. I have solar collectors, so I don't want to park in shade... subsequently, I had to insulate well. The shade will be the 15' awning I am going to put down the side.

Tommy B. Howdy;

Good to hear you got your elect. systems sorted out and everything works as it should.
Knowing when to keep my mouth shut, glad that flboy and McDave were there to help ya out with the
elect. stuff. Stuff that I have no inclination about.

Paint the roof first then tackle the insulation or you're going to be smellin' Bar-B-Qued knuckles the
whole time...

Thank you so much everyone. My head wants to explode with all the new stuff I have learned. And I know its only the tip of the ice berg.

I really wish I would have insulated! I reasoned that 3/8 plywood would act as insulation for a short few days camping but did not consider the roof.

Hank you said to paint the roof. As you know its aluminum. What would be good to coat it with? Is there a product that will provide some reflection or insulation.
Did you mean inside or outside? Please.

Thanks

Henry 887HS Tropi-Cool® 100% Silicone White Roof Coating - High Solids is a premium, 100% silicone, moisture cure coating designed to reflect the sun's heat and UV rays as well as protect many types of roofs. While suitable for use in all climates, the 100% silicone chemistry is especially suited for extreme tropical environments, which are exposed to some of the hottest and wettest weather with intense UV exposure. It is specially designed to maintain maximum reflectivity of heat and UV rays as it ages. Its moisture cure chemistry creates a very aggressive chemical bond with the roof, which provides permanent resistance to ponding water, extreme durability, and superior capabilities of sealing and protection.

Features
•Lifetime warranty
•Saves energy by reflecting heat
•Excellent adhesion and flexibility
•Long-lasting waterproof seal
•1 coat application
•Rain-safe in 1 hour
•Permanent ponding water resistant
•Superior UV resistance and weathering characteristics
•VOC compliant - solvent-free
•Wide application temperature range from 35°F to 120°F
•Mold and mildew resistant
•Easy to apply by spray, roller, or brush

YES! I will research and learn some more!

We can swing that!
THANKS MAN!

This leads to a few quick questions relating to a vent I may want to put above the toilet first. I will grab a pic and be back.

Again thanks! SO DARN HOT NOW.

I don't know if I can mount this or not but after reading Mcdaves post I know I should install this fan first here on the roof of course but as I type this I don't know if It will fit.

Listen here son,
McDave picked up Henry 587 for about 40.00 gal shipped from Grainger. It's the stuff, I'm tellin' ya. Coverage is 100 sq ft with 2 coats. I got 3 coats on the 6x12. Huge improvement, easy to apply. This is the Henry 587 PDF http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfIma ... 6f07f7.pdf
Also, I'm putting in a Heng's combo fan/light/ vent.. picked it up on ebay. Gonna wire in a switch outside of bathroom for power to the fan/ lite. Could be fun when the Mrs. is in there...just sayin'.. ya gotta plan ahead.

Man Id like to take that for a demo ride! :) :) Uhh, the Indian of course! Unless she's Indian cause that's not what I meant. Just give me three steps towards the door!

Thanks AGAIN Mcdave. !

Next pics should be the newly painted roof with vent/light and switch right by the bed, like you said.

Have good weekend.
Really crazy world right now. Better enjoy every damn day you can while you can.

Tommy, If you do not want to have to do a major mod, this fan will make a great bathroom fan and draws 200CFM. I like the one I installed in my camper.

McDave... How do you like the Indians? I am thinking about a Scout. I like them a lot... previously was thinking about a Victory Hammer. I like my bike very basic without all the bags and etc..
