Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Postby Prem » Tue Jan 12, 2010 1:48 pm

bc,

Yup. Tents are for backpacking.

Looks like those two kids in the photo enjoyed camping with dad.

My dad only took us to rented cabins, but his dad took me camping in his pickup truck camper. We fished in his boat that we towed with us from lake to lake. We caught lots of fish.

I took my kids camping in three different rigs. My son now has a trailer and spent two weeks camped in it last summer.

Camping is psychotherapy as an easy escape to nature from the background stress of job, house and traffic.

With a bit of 'toying', the top of the ATV hauler could become a fine fishing pram.

"Pram"??? How British of you.

It's a PUNT:

An open flatbottom boat with squared ends, used in shallow waters and usually propelled by a long pole.

Oh *that* style! That's a garvey, aka "our dingy." ;)

NICE photo of "Harvey the Garvey" there Ageless. :R

What's that tiny class of lap strake sailboats called? (It's a former brand name.) They used to race on the mountain lakes down here. They take on a lot of water if there are any white caps. Flat bow no es bueno.

Nice!!!

These folks live not far down the road from me. I'll try to look them up.
