thanks :) I'm pretty fond of my lascala's - I have a second home-version set as well... plus 3 other sets of klipschs- a 2.1, 5.1 and 7.1

going to mount the 2.1 in the trailer as they're plenty loud!

The 2.1 set will be all you need; that is class. Made a believer of a friend once when I connected a Walkman to a cornerhorn; and ran him out of the room with vol. Have a couple of sets of Heresy's; my son relieved me of the cornerhorns. Taught in Hope for forty years and knew Paul Klipsch.

Back to regular schedule of trailer conversion. Enjoy following your conversion and look forward to future projress.

Happy wife happy life, as they say...

Picked up another WDTV Live for shows on the go!

Mounting it tomorrow

Also picked up a Wireless thermometer. Put the 'outside' temperature module in teh fridge (just to be sure) as it tracks mins and max temps

small update

Wife and I spent a total of 5 weeks (3 + 2) in the trailer this summer and it rocks !

Full queen bed, 24" 1080p TV with Klipsch 2.1's

Mini-bar fridge and 240AH of batteries

Add in a Honda 2000w invertor generator for when we were dry camping and yeah, this is good :D

Im linking the solid aluminum interior, but will finish it off with insulation & paneling over the fall / winter

very happy to have gone this route!

Quick pic from updates two weeks ago.

It's also been fully sheeted :)

Just waiting for the weather to warm so I can seal all the wood !

I also cut out the mid-wall as it was unnecessary and annoying to plan around

OK couple updates

Cut out the mid-wall to open it all up & the sheeting has been sealed. Much much better now that it's all opened up!

Went camping on May Long and was snug as a bug in a rug!

A counter top has been installed in the VNose section but is unfinished

Started the flooring - going with cork as the better half needs to like it and be comfortable

Also a closeup of how the bed was build with the UniStrut. Added in a 3rd support which took out a lot of flex.

Also picked up a two set of drawers from Ikea for it

http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/50163754/

Smaller than usual & should fit nicely under the bed

Thanks all for the continued ideas!

Still have a few surprises in store ;)

Any updates? How does the unistrut thing work? I'm guessing that's a roller but what do you use to secure it to the ceiling?

no rollers

the L's are brackets that the bed sits on

up above I use a nother L bracket at the top of each of teh 4 posts

Attach a one-way pulley to each and it's easy to lift up :)

OK after a not updating for a while... Still loving the trailer. Just haven't had time to work on it!

Just added a Luggable Loo (used with double bags and kitty litter) which met with the wife's great approval as we've been backcountry this year :)

Also added an Aquacube
http://www.amazon.ca/Basecamp-Heater-Aq ... B007PAP4WM

Also got me huge brownie points as it works awesomely! A couple 6 gallon pails and we were set for 2 days of dishes and showers.
one HUGE kicker with this unit is start with water in the 70-75 degree range as it will kick it up to 115 no problem!

Added a plastic water heater pan for $15 as a place to stand, and a shower curtain between the back doors and we were set

All in all was some of the best camping yet :)

as a FYI, my first aquacube was DOA - pump motor didn't work but the second one worked perfectly.

Nice additions. The comfort details are always a great addition to a camper.

I hadn't seen the Aqua Cube before. Looks similar to Coleman's On Demand Heater.

Yeppers. It's the next generation - you get digital in and out readings. You also get a bigger battery and hotter water than the Coleman. And much more water flow - the shower (which is quite sufficient) is .8 gallons per minute. The tap, I'd guess more like 0-3 gallons per minute. The tap is adjustable for flow.

Wife is very happy!

I'm a little late in catching up with your build. The wall finish and flooring look fantastic! Did you spray foam the walls?
