Re: A cargo conversion ...Beds

Postby kkayv » Thu Apr 18, 2013 9:33 am

Beds are about done. I will post some pics soon! I love the black stripe down the gray vinyl. I am putting the mattress on top of a heavy duty wide twin cot. I have two of them. I can double them up or just use one. My labrador needs a place to sleep after all! :D

kkayv, Howdy;

Noticed it. # 25 is to aquire 2x8 or 10's . When you go to lowes or HD or wherever,
ask them if they'll cut it to size for you. Generally it's done as a free service.
Thought I'd throw that out there for ya.

kkavy, Howdy;

There have been a few members here that have reported
good results using this for their floors;

And as for your choise in stabilizers, you can use a drill
with the proper sized socket on it to zip it up-n-down.

wow 12'er nice; it will carry more;

I was luck in my 6X10 its more like 10.75' the extra 3/4 of a foot makes a difference; 2 foot would be a luxury ... Im envious; but (smugly;) I got an overheight so I can stand inside its 6'-2 ish inside height at the high point before finishing; yours?

I posted some pics to share ideas in my gallery section; check er out. The idea was a bike / all season camper / sleep / work trailer. Its done all of the above and more; very happy with it. At times seems small for 2 when camping but its warm; dry and secure.

Its a bit of work; but a well thought out design pays off with usefulness and organization and pack-ability.

Do any of you have suggestions on what to use for the ramp floor on my toy hauler conversion. I want something that will clean easily but not be too silpry or expensive. I like the way black and white checked vinyl floor looks, but I'd prob. Kill myself on it!

Has anyone considered horse stall matting? They come in different sizes, they are softer and fairly non skid but easy to clean.
