I got one of these, I'm geeky so I like to see the voltage down to the .01V  . Flush mounts nicely into a wood or aluminum panel. Needs a switch though so it isn't on all the time.

I like that! I want to find a gauge like that, that shows amp draw so I can keep track of the load I'm putting on the battery

That's the way to go. You can use a toggle switch, but a push button would be a better option. You don't want the volt meter on all the time. You can get them for between $5 - $25, depending on what you get. That, plus this info, will give you everything that you need.

I bought mine here: http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/search.aspx?find=volt+meter

It is looking great and you are doing a great job!

Im pretty sure my battery gauge got lost in shipping :x Tracking number said delivery this last saturday, says departed last location on the 23rd and hasn't been updated since…..lets hope the post man has some tricks up his sleeves!

On a more positive note, I got a TON done with my trailer this weekend! Saturday, I installed a fan-tastic roof vent, with a Maxx air cover (had to do a custom install since it said wasn't made for my vent)…couple 1x3's, tube of roof sealant and sheet metal screws got it done! Then yesterday, as it poured down rain all day, I worked on my front cabinets. sanded, primed and painted. Due to humidity, drying times weren't friendly, but thats alright. Was the last thing to do for the day so I painted and shut it up. Didn't get to install side window yet due to weather, but hoping to here in the very near future. If I get any time to put toward it tonight, i'll snap some pics!

I have ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon and they are pretty good ... a Saturday delivery often comes on the following Monday ... Not to worry. :worship:

I did a little searching for a volt/amp meter on Amazon and came up with this little jewel ( RioRand Digital Panel Amps Volt Ammeter Voltmeter Gauge 2in1 DC 199V/100A LCD Measurement Of Voltage And Current) at:
http://www.amazon.com/RioRand-Digital-A ... +amp+meter
8)

Amazon had several similar meters, but I think I'll do a little more reading on this one as it sells in the low $20 ($22.89) range.

Uh Oh, the meter requires a Pure Sine Wave power supply --- more research is in order and maybe a different meter for my set-up. Sorry for the mis-direction, but there are more meters out there  but

Hey that looks pretty cool! Only thing that has come from Amazon with all of this is roof sealant, and the Maxx air vent cover. Everything else has been Ebay, simply because I used the 0% for 6 month bill me later promotion. I wish Amazon would take paypal so I could use the bill me later there too!

Well here's another update! Couldn't be happier with how everything is turning out! I'll take more pics prob tomorrow cause I'm waiting on the paint to dry on the cabinet doors. Tonight, I installed Jensen marine grade stereo, Rockford fosgate speakers, and reassembled from painting. Ran stereo for two hours and batteries are still reading full charge :)

If you notice, the counter top no longer goes all the way into the V. Back there, which is behind the tool box, there's a good foot by 2 foot area back there. Couldn't bring myself to covering up dead space like that. Got to thinking, and got it! 3 bag chairs fit back there perfectly! Figure I could also put hot dog forks etc back there too

Got it wrapped up tonight! Found some vinyl diamond plate on eBay which I thought was a cool touch on the cabinet doors. The trim above the box is aluminum angle from menards that matches the drawer handles, and the trim on the floor is plastic PVC trim so it won't soak water

Hey I like that little marine stereo, didn't know they made 'em like that. Just punch a hole with a hole saw and you're done, eh? Looks slick.

The rest of the work is looking good too, good call on popping the camp chairs behind the cabinet, maybe you could make a hinged flap in the corner so you don't lose your marbles down the hole. :FNP
