Got the rest of the ceiling mounted and trimmed out. Going to leave the v for now because I plan to build cabinets straight across where the last piece ends.

Anyone who's interested, below is the wood I used for the ceiling. It's light, cheap and lays nice with screws every 16".

I do like this. I am taking the photo and label to HD and my local private supplier to see if I can get some.
Thanks Awedge.

PS. And I like the big head screw approach. I plan on doing something like that so I can remove the ceiling or wall covering should I ever need to get back there....say for rewiring, etc.

Bob, The wood actually came from Home Depot so you should have no trouble finding it. The screws I used are 3/4" self tapping screws for attaching wire mesh, hence the larger head...food for thought. They lay just about flush once they're torqued down a bit.

Up next, cabinets in the nose!

Well between working out of town and holiday stuff, managed to make some progress on the trailer.

First, I had a bed rail mount tool box laying around that fits great and the lip for the bed rail works perfect for the dist hitch mounts. So that got mounted.

Then, I found a guy who is about 2 min from me that makes cabinets, so I had him make me a cabinet face with doors. I mounted the switch panel yesterday am going to start wiring today. I already have the all the lighting terminated to two bus bars on the right side wall behind the cabinet. I think behind that first door on the right will be the "nerve center" for the trailer.

I really like carpet on the walls, I got lucky and found a whole roll of carpet at lowes being closed out it was the perfect color also. adds a really nice finished look on the inside.

Thanks yota, no the Diamond appears pretty solid other than a few gaps between the floors and the walls after I removed the bottom trim. I would also like to see more weldment where the ribs meet the ceiling, but other than that I am happy with it.

I plan to mount the tanks underneath the trailer. There is approx 18" between floor crossmembers so I'm sure I can find a tank that will fit there. I also plan on doing an axle flip at some point so ground clearance won't be an issue either.
