Live from Rockport reservoir for a family reunion. Been windy and rainy off/on all weekend.
Finally sunny this morning, gonna fish while it's good.
You may notice something on the truck shell. 1st test.

Modstock, Howdy;

Beautiful place, went through there, stayed on 89, several years ago.
Thanks for the video, but it only conveys maybe 2 or 3% of the wonderment
of those areas.

Thanks. Lot's to see down there for sure. Went into Lone Rock , didn't stay long. There was water around the rock but not now.

Im sure you all have seen the thread on successful fuel mileage with a snowboard (Slim Potatohead' video) in general discussions and my mods.

Well I just happened to find a brick of wax I've been holding onto since my teen sledding day's and gave the board a good waxing. Pretty slick. ImageImage

Well that trip got canceled (2 weeks ago). What I thought was heat exhaustion turned out to be covid, recovered from that and tested negative but now suffering from covid fatigue. Feel weak in the mornings. Any future trips are put on hold for now.

Hope you all are enjoying your trailers and travels.

Always hate to hear of anyone catchin' that crap. Good to hear it was a mild case,
keep on gettin' better.

Thanks guys. Today was feeling better enough to get the lawn mowed.
Took a decongestant before bed so I didn't wake up with a headache.
Weather is cloudy and not too hot.
Who knows how I'll be feeling tomorrow.
Started editing videos while im inside.

Here's the continued trip after Alstrom point. The Grand Canyon NP

I've enjoyed the videos Mod, Thank you for taking the time with them..
A lot of places over the years I wish we could have visited ourselves, my best friend (wife) and me..
We should have started earlier in the younger years.. not old buy any means now..
but age and health do take a tow on a body and mind..

Keep feeling better.. do what you can, when you can.. and always go, when you can.. :thumbsup:

Yes. Do what ya can, when ya can.
Had a relative who was waiting for retirement to travel. Sadly he passed in his sleep the day before retirement.
That's always struck a chord with me.

On some lighter news.
I've had a week of feeling pretty decent. So we went on a trail ride in the jeep. Felt good to get out of the house. Pretty cool to explore a new trail. Has lots of mining relics and it started to lightly rain at the top. Enjoyed that. Also tried out the new gopro camera. Amazing how smooth the footage is.

Modstock, Howdy;

Is that up on the Wasatch Plateau?
Also looks like the views going up and over from Wales to Levan.

It was more central Utah. Kinda stumbled upon the trail, no name and couldn't find any info on it. The cool weather was nice.

This video was the last winter camp early March. .
