Maple trees -(sugar bush), tapped to make maple syrup. I work helping @The Highland Company to produce and bottle Awesome Woods Maple syrup.

I saw a cooler in our dumpsters the other day, so I dived in! Looks like a hunter hauled the meat of a deer in it. It's a wheele Coleman the wheels were inside withe the axle. I cleaned it up today and need to get the retainer for the axle/wheel. The blood/ raw meat smell is still noticeble so I left it in the sunshine. Hoping it's going to be usable.

Padilen, Howdy;

Throw a handful of coffee grounds (un-used), in it and leave the lid open. Should have the smell out of it in a few days.

hank

p.s. Had a 48' trailer that had hauled renderings from a slaughterhouse to a dog food factory once that had
set in the sun for a week. Well it took a full can of coffee and another week but you could get in it again, and
that was a wood floor and walls. Plastic deodorizes faster.

Soap and water, bleach, rinse. Sunlight then charcoal.
Mostly keep open to the sun.

I hope you're right, but around some areas, I wouldn't make that assumption... :o

The hair on it was the clue, to deer. A neighbor's a butcher and during hunting season he works at home. Since we have community dumpsters I've seen this kind of stuff before, and much more!

Once again my camping plans ended after one night. I forgot my meds and on top of that my allergies kicked in. The accumulator tank didn't help, my hot water issue! I'm trying different settings on heater and pressure for accumulator. The only other thing I could think of is if it's directional - but the package says mount any position.

Friday I hauled my CTC over to the sugar bush. Never unhooked or unloaded cycle! Just came home as storms were forecasted. Rained during the night, no thunder storms. And of course Saturday was beautiful. Rain Easter Sunday morning then another beautiful day. Today was cold and it managed to sprinkle again. It's spring it's Michigan :shock:

What was the problem with the hot water again? Went searching and didn't stumble on it.

It's mentioned in Tommys build. I've only noticed it when using water pump. But the water either is to hot or to cold. Only briefly at the set temp. I believe it was Don that suggested to Tommy the accumulator tank.this is the one I bought. SEAFLO Pre-Pressurized Accumulator Tank https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MVA6GCC/re ... 17jbNRzkrR
SEAFLO Pre-Pressurized Accumulator Tank https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MVA6GCC/re ... 17jbNRzkrR I bumped up the pressure from 10 to 25. Didn't correct the issue, I'm now up to 35 but untested.

Padilen, Howdy;

What kind of hot water heater do ya have? RV type or "Instant"? If yo have a regular RV type how do ya have
the shut-off valves set-up? Just 1 for the cold inlet and a check-valve in the hot output? OR ... plumbing
looks like a sideways H with bottom being cold upper being Hot and vertical being the connector for when
winterized. In older RV's there were 3 shut-off valves, 1st. between vert. line and cold inlet, 2ed. between
hot outlet and vert. and 3rd. in the vert. itself (what I had in my former RV). My water temps stayed where
they were set. (hot and cold valves open and vertical closed)
http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/bflin ... e.jpg.html

In this 'newer' RV I have a double shut-off valve set-up with the check-valve in the hot outlet eliminating the
hot water shut-off valve, So, I point the shower head away from me when I reopen the sprayer give it a 3 count
and the hot has remixed with the cold.
Hope this helps some.

I'm sorryi should have said, I have the outdoor instant hot water heater. But not being able to use the app makes it difficult to post. I can't see what I've typed other than a few words.

Padilen, Howdy;

Not a problem ... I've zero experience with the type you have so I have
no thought as to why you have your problem other then to surmise that
the mixing valve isn't doing it's job propeerly
:thinking:
