Howdy All;

Figured I drag this old thread back up to the front.
Today I put the $'s down for an Interstate Pro 6X14 with an
extra 6" of height standard an extra overhead vent and instead of
standard 3500# axel I'm upgrading to a 5600# axel, with brakes.
This will also have the Barn Doors. I'll be picking it up on June 14th.
in Murray, Ut. on my way to West Yellowstone for a weeks fishing on
the Madison. Figure I'll have plenty of time to figure out where what
needs to be... :thinking:

Hank, congratulations on your purchase, your step into some good times.

I wish I could in the position to report my step forward also, but some medical problems decided to be the 800 lb gorilla in my efforts. Hopefully I can beat them soon and make my leap.

I like your choice and I am looking forward to your posts. We seemed to have the thought patterns based on our earlier posts to each other and I am therefore sure I will be able to relate to your efforts.

Hi Hank,
Glad to here you're going to be picking up the trailer. On the larger trailer, you will probably feel better with brakes, especially when loaded! As they say, it is not the towing that is difficult, it is the stopping. :worship:

I would make the trip out west and meet up, but I will be in Minnesota come June ... if I ever get this house finished in Arizona. :?

Good luck and great seeing you online! :D
Happy Camping & Building,
John (JC)

You know the answer to that ... Like Kevin Kline said in the movie "Dave"
"I caught one this big..." while reaching out with mechanical arms to about 40' of length. ;) , :lol:

Howdy All;

Nothing new to report except we got the paperwork straightened out
I took exception the phrasing of the "Agreement", which started out
"Delivery and Payment. Delivery of vehicle is to be taken within
5 days of arrival at seller's location or date of this notice whichever is later."

It goes on to say that if I don't pick it up in that time frame the seller can retain as
liquidated damages all the money and any other considerations paid by the purchaser.
As I'm ordering this as a 'Special' order and need to have a more precise delivery
date due to my Northward excursion and picking it up along the way we got that
ironed out ... changes made to the 'contract' blah-de-blah ... They have my money
now it's up to them to do their part.
Strange part was the Manager told me I was the first one to point that out about
the delivery date other than some Government types they've dealt with.
Oh yeh ... and I started my album ( weeks and a wake-up till I hook up to it.

Howdy All;

I be a happy soon to be camper ... :)

Look what showed up on the Murray Trailers Plus site this morning ...
http://www.trailersplus.com/Utah/Murray ... 3EN092647/

My pick-up date is June 14th. then up to Mt. for a weeks camping and fishin' on the Madison
with some other wet fly fanatics from http://flymphforum.com/index.php?sid=ab ... f72a2fd24b
Figure I'll be able to do my head scratchin' while I'm there then fill it with my storage contents
and drag the whole lot back to Sw N.M.sell what I can from the contents and trash the rest ...
:) , :) , :)
