is that it only gives you 5500 btu heating at 17F vs expensive unit gives you 10,000 Btu at 5F. The same applies to the cooling at up to 123F - for example most all roof top or home or window ac units no longer cool over 105F.
They run, but they no longer cool & that's when they blow up or break down as one might say on the hottest day of the year. With ac units you always get what you pay for - there is no free lunch.
