CGRotorHead,
What size are your floods? And where did you get yours. I have several that I found on Ebay and Amazon and I wanted to compare them to what you got.
Thanks.
Bob

They are 6" floods I got them from blitzpro. I got the 6lz, I picked them up during the black Friday sale they were having for $10 a piece and then I got the switches and switch holder from them too.

Got a new battery box today from a buddy. It's made for a trolling motor battery but I took it off of his hands for him. It has some pretty cool features.
Image
My temporary battery. I will eventually upgrade to something better. But I will be mounting my blue seas fuse panel to the top off the lid.
Image
It has tow integrated circuit breakers. A 10amp for the two cigaret lighter slots on each side of the lid and a 60 amp main for the exterior terminals.
Image
Has a push to test to see the level of the battery
Image
The external terminals make charging convenient

This should make it easier to back up now, I got tired of just guessing what was behind me at night. The problems of having tinted rear window and tinted shell windows.

I know that wasn't cheap. I'm looking for one of them for my new truck. I had a Gentex in my Taco, and it was well worth the money, but I'm not sure if I want to dole out that kind of cash again.

So when I made the decision to not install windows in my trailer, I talked myself into adding cameras on a few sides, and one is on the rear. This way, when I hook into my trailer, I can also have an extra set of eyes when I am backing up (the camera and rear lights will flip on when I throw it in reverse). Any thoughts on that?

I put this one on the back of the trailer:

Very easy install and its wireless. Operates up to 35' per specs. I hooked it up in backup mode. You can also just plug it in and it runs full time. Monitor is decent and it was only $89 at Christmas.

Ya I def wanted a factory quality back up camera . I don't think I will need any more cameras on the trailer, that's a good idea though

Definitely on my want list after a ton of money is spent on other items. I can see where it will be a great aid.

I may end up modifying it so I can turn it on and off when I want. I would've nice to periodically check the hitch while towing . Still on the fence If I will actually do it tho

Got my Insulation put in yesterday, I used sheets of Reflectix that I got from home depot. I didn't need anything more than this since the coldest it gets where I will be using it the most is into the 20s. I already have a 15* sleeping bag plus the mr buddy propane heater. I run that a little bit before I got to bed and when I wake up as needed. I put it on the walls, ceiling and rear ramp under the plywood deck, and all of it was put up with 3m spray adhesive to hold it in place. Still kinda in between on whether or not I will put some under the floor of the trailer..... I guess I will have to wait and see what it is like when it is cold out.
