I will run a charger for battery off of shore/ generator power. Is there an automatic transfer switch that will switch from solar charge to shore charge?

Mounted gray tank today and cut hole for water heater and one of my compartment doors. I went with a Furrion on demand so it slides through wall like a normal 6 gallon rv wh. The compartment doors are the 24x30 and will be pass through under bed at front of trailer.

Haven’t posted in a while. I’ve purchased more parts for my build and cut about all the holes. The door is temporarily installed and today I installed one window and a compartment door. I have a shower sitting there along with a 12v fridge and my water pump.
My 110v mini split also showed up.

I don’t guess I’ve taken any. The only ones I have are what the dealer sent me when trailer was finished.

I haven’t gotten much done in trailer....
What’s the general consensus on how to mount my ac compressor for my mini split on my trailer tongue? Should I use u bolts or weld mounting bars on?

If you have the Welder and know how to use it, I think that would be ideal.

Ok. I put in a frame for maxair fan today and I installed the fan. I also ordered my awning, switches and lights.

It’s been awhile since I posted. I’ve put the shower inside and hope to pick up a few pieces to plumb it today.

I’m still considering my electrical system. I think I’m going to completely hold off on solar for now. We will almost always carry a generator or be somewhere we can plug in. I would still like a lithium battery though because it’s lighter for one thing. So my question is...
How do I charge it? Should I buy a smart lithium charger that I plug into a 110v outlet or use some type of 12v/110v rv panel with lithium charger built in? I may add solar and solar charger along with an inverter in the future...

I’m still contemplating my electrical. Can somebody give me some guidance?
I installed plumbing to gray tank today and put shower in place. I built part of the back wall and fastened shower to it. It’s coming along!

On the electrical I want the battery to power most things. I need to know how to charge that battery and also what distribution panels to get. Is an all in one like an rv has the best way to go or should I use separate distribution panels and a charger plugged into 120 outlet that keeps battery charged?

If I do that I will basically have two complete separate electrical systems. One will be 120 and power only some outlets, microwave and mini split. The 12v will power lights, pump, refrigerator, and awning.

I prefer separate panels and etc.. instead of "all in one" types basically for the ability to customize and facilitate easier repairs when that day comes... that said, if you have very little electrical capabilities, the all in one like in RVs will take alot of the design effort out of the picture.

I've like simple things and have wired my 6x12 trailer as simple as it can get.

I started with a small fuse block that does everything I need on 12-volts. I do have a separate 120v circuit to run a window a/c and maybe charge my lithium batteries. I'm installing 400-watts of solar too.

Here's my simple 12-volt fuse block that works for me:

Thanks for the feedback. So I should do two completely separate systems and the only thing connecting them would be one of these plugged into 120v to charge my battery? This assumes I am using a deep cycle battery rather than lithium…
