Spoke to martin via e-mail. Looks good mid November for him. Will watch the weather. I could go up twice a month if funds and time permit. Id go every weekend if I could.

So what part of Florida are you in Tommy, how far from Delancy for you? I'm looking forward to coming down. I'm not sure if it'll be just me or if the wife will be down too. Its gonna depend on her work schedule if she's able to come. Me I still have vacation days at work I have to take.

Saturday

10/22

81 | 59 °F

Saturday 10 % Precip. / 0 in
Sunny. High 81F. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday Night 20 % Precip. / 0 in
A mostly clear sky. Low 59F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.

And so it begins. October 22 2016 for the record. That's Fort Mcoy right down the road. Its always a little colder down in Delancey, So mid to lower 50s at night. Will check dew point also. Just as important.

If I can swing it I may go up after work 10/21, Friday. Friday night, leave Sunday when ever. 12-3 some time. No hurry to get home.

If the weather looks even cooler and that rain comes Thursday I may go up Thursday night and stay through Sunday, if the weather is good. Right after that rain and front passing through is perfect. I don't even mind the rain. Hopefully the bugs wont be to bad. :thinking:

Tommy B. Howdy;

Nice pix. Now, ... about those auto play loop videos ... any way you can install a STOP button for them?
Some of us have to pay for the overage fees and those things can run them up fairly quickly. Especially when
it's further down a page and the reader doesn't run across it of a minute or 2. Just askin' ... Being on a fixed
income has it's draw backs. Thanks.

Here's a hot water idea my son uses for when he's camping outside of Denver. His size is limited to his roof rack size. He said he gets 3-4 quick showers from it.

Tommy B. Howdy;

Thanks, I don't think they effect the usage data unless they are on the page being viewed.
They are kinda fun to watch ... for a short time. the ability to click a stop or pause button
would be nice to be able to limit it's usage.
Thanks again.

Re: HALLMARK 6X12 CONVERSION

About this set up.
This particular problem of hose storage has been and continues to be a real challenge. But I believe I finally got it. But it is pricey.

Round pipe on flat metal..bad. Metal strapping does not really work well here for me.

What I guess I will do is, Bolt down 2 angled strips down the length of the pipe. 55 inches. The L Portions will cradle the tube down its length.

Then bend these rods ( I think? ) over the pipe and through the angle aluminum. Bolt them down with stainless 3/8 hardware. One rod on each end. Front and back.

Then mount the " the deck " by utilizing the wood as seen. One length for the back and one extra wide for the top deck. Use 2 1/2 inch deck screws to bring the wood together and then somehow secure the deck to the top of the pipe.

Any advice is welcome as I will start this tomorrow

Thanks.

Tommy B. Howdy;

Have you considered some homemade U-bolts, large flat washers and some nuts?
You can bend some all-thread for your u-bolts and then slide some heat-shrink
over it to protect the pipe from the threads cutting into it. A set of nuts and
washers on both sides of the wood base to 'lock' it in place and off down the road ya go ...

YES, YES ! :D
24 Inches of 3/8 thread zinc plated rod. x2. Never thought of heat shrink to protect the pipe from abuse. Good Idea. Its cheap too.

If I can get that threaded rod in three foot lengths I should be able place the deck down and then utilize the rod to secure the deck to the pipe and the pipe to the angle aluminum all in one shot. Two 90 degree bents and viola, its a home made square u-bolt. :thinking:

THATS IT! :thumbsup: :beer:

Tommy B. Howdy;

And to think that thought occured while I was waiting for the coffee to cook ...
and you could use some old garden hose to protect the threads instead of the heat shrink.
Probably last longer too.
