Could you just add shower curtains to protect the walls?
I'm still thinking and deciding how and what I want. I need another set of hands for a couple of ideas. The retired trailer guy is for brain not brawn. I hope to need him soon.

In my case of using painted walls, yes having more shower curtains around the 4 sides might also help. I will certainly keep that idea open as an option.

It's not healthy to keep it bottled up. I feel the need to rant.
I'm on a pickup forum so I can learn things about mine. I'm not highly intelligent nor do I think I'm a know it all. But seriously what's wrong with people. No common sense? Give me give me society. Young and dumb ( I don't know posters ages) Unable to function without approval - direction of others?
Pick my tires.
What color truck should I get.
Badges or debadge.

I bought a 1500 to tow a 35' 11,000 # trailer do you think it's safe?
No well your just to cautious. I'll do it and tell you about it afterwards.
Do I need a break controller for my over loaded truck trailer combo.
What kind how much should I spend?
I didn't get a hitch(ball) when I bought my truck should dealer make it right?
Pick my tires
(towing) but don't tell me I need E's cause they ride worse and cost more.
I'm new to trucks and towing but I want the biggest trailer.
I don't have towing mirrors thats alright?
Should I have a full size spare?
It's ok that I put 35's on and it's a 32 spare.

About 1/2 the threads/posts are like this.
Why would I personalize my pick up and CT and cycle house etc. By asking some other person to pick? Why if I've never towed would I ask for help then know more than those that offered advise.
I didn't post replies I'm trying to be nice. It's hard so very hard.

Padilen, Howdy;

I feel for ya ... I get overloaded by the RV forum I go to that's based
on the Manufacturer of my home (an RV). Same questions, same
irrational logic, and the same whiny attitudes. Someone recently
asked about what additive to use for their diesel engine. Remember,
this is an RV forum, but they do cover a lot of territory. So I provided
a link to a study that had been about that same subject. Didn't say if I
agreed with it or not, if I used any or not. Just used the "Food Truck"
comparison ... Don't expect to find a quality Burrito at a Japanese truck
or good 'brats & 'kraut at a Mexican truck. These forums ain't like Wally World
they ain't a one stop shopping experience. Helpful hints are good, a "you gotta do..."
not so much.

Made some PVC legs that thread onto plywood for sofa/ bed. Had a slight problem with one glue reacting to the other. So revised mounting method. Spare tire mounted.

Tomorrow local RV dealer should have a couple of parts in. And today I ordered another toilet - low which when mounted should be just right!
Still trying to figure out my electrical cord /panel compartment mistake. I made the dinette base to hold -water tank, water pump and all electrical. But didn't figure enough room for wire run's too. It's more of a finical issue than a real problem. I can do it 170$ or 60$. But the best way is 170$ Marina hook ups.

Went to RV dealer to get my ordered parts. That were never ordered

Still no parts and I forgot to reorder(?) one part. I'm saving to get Amazon prime again. This is ridiculous to go to an RV dealer for them to have to order- to forget to order then reorder and wait.
But I started on my sink cabinet. Reusing a door I modified from pickup camper I scrapped.

Had to get groceries so I stopped in RV dealer. Ok there are 2 I've been trying to do business at both places. Just because it's hard for the small town family owned businesses competing with Internet eBay and Amazon. But I'm seriously rethinking this. Because once again some of my stuff still hasn't came in. It's possible it wasn't even ordered. They couldn't check because phone lines are down - power too in a lot of places.
Bought some items for camping. I had to go 3 places to get cast iron. It's not what I planned on but other than a huge Dutch oven and huge skillet it's all that could be had.
I also bought an air mattress to see if I can replace the memory foam on lift bed.

You'll miss the memory foam. Air mattresses are cold too.

That might help me.
I'm just worried about all the extra weight that memory foam adds & up high.

The retired RV dealer came over. He gave me some guidance. He thought my ideas should work. He also explained why I've not gotten the part I keep ordering. Not used in modern RV's. But told me individual parts needed to "build" assembly.
