Today I was able to get my plumbing finished (except for wiring the pump).



And I got the cabinet return made. This will be the home of my battery cut off switch, a 12v receptacle, a 110v receptacle, a light switch and my pump switch.

Yes, Birch butcher block, but only about 1 1/8" thick. Lighter than 3/4" particle board with laminate. We'll be oiling it so it will darken up a bit.

Got my cabinet return and wiring complete today.



Also got my LED counter top lights installed.

Did you run a vent for the mini fridge or is that necessary? Trying to figure out if I need to do this in mine when it arrives.

I didn't run a vent for mine...we will see if it will be a problem. However, I do have about 3/4" around the fridge, so heat can escape, and since heat rises, I don't expect a problem...

No specific vent for the fridge. I shouldn't need one since the area under the left base cabinet is completely open. If I do I have a hole on the floor near the fridge that I can open (the original electrical service door that the dealer installed).

This afternoon I installed the garage area lights. Two 10 foot strips of LEDs. Housing is made from soffit J channel and florescent light covers that I cut down on the table saw:









I also got the heat strip installed in the air conditioner and the lower housing mounted. Finished up the power center cabinet also.

Or buy all your parts separate. I have never installed an rv style water system. I got the bar sink and faucet and that's it. Would this be a good buy considering the price?

That lighting is sharp. I have the same led strips already. And chance for a close-up of the j molding you used?

I believe it was cheaper for me to buy everything separate. Look at the first few pages of this thread, I listed prices for the parts I bought.

LED supplier is http://www.glowhut.com The LEDs come with an adhesive back but I've found they don't stick very well. So I supplement the adhesion with silicone caulk Not much to installation. Stick them to the wall, black to negative, red to switched positive.

I was looking at the same water pump you got. The LEDs are really nice to man like the look of them. I'd do something like that but the factory install 2 - 4ft LED lights in the trailer but if it's not enough im gonna go your rout. Did you just bend the J Channel back after screwing it into the wall?

The light cover panel gets slid in through the end of the J channel.
