That turned out pretty clean, I'm gonna have to save a few of those pics.

Thinking about building an ATV camper trailer. Mostly for summer, where you camp along the trail. Anyone try this? Thinking of going all aluminum.

You mean to pull behind your ATV? Like the trailers you see behind Harley's and Goldwings and such. Might be able to find some of those in the teardrop area? I have seen one at Sturgis that was incredible. It was a pop-up type with hard sides. Small but very nice. I'll look around a little and see what I can find.

Yes exactly! Planning a trip to a trail system where I will camp along the way. Will be about a four night trip. I'm thinking I can get a small trailer to add camping gear storage, and add a gas and water system. Thinking I'll jus throw a tent up, just to leave space for necessities, like cooking stuff and food. But it has to be small enough to pull behind the ATV and not bog down or flip, going down the trails.

Have you seen Yutrax trailers? They use to have tracking axles you could get separately too

I just looked at Yutrax, very cool. And the axles were like 139.00. I know Mac can weld and fab, so...Bingo!

I can only attest for single axle, have seen one in use putting tree stands up so no real heavy loads and no real super difficult terrain.

Website says 1260 lbs max. So that's pretty good for a trail trailer. Even just the axles are super... Like McDave said, fabricating may be a fun project!!

Wow 1200 lbs is quite a bit. If your taking 1200 lbs on trail, it aint for just an overnight stay.

Yeah, if its something that will get used and get u out there doing what you want to for sure. Might as well take a grill and full meals with that weight capacity
