Good to hear from ya. Mend well, and take your time, no need to rush.

Check in from time to time, please.

There you are... Glad to hear you are healing! The weather is funny this year! I am wondering if McDave has dug out yet also. Sounds like they were hunkered down there in MT for a while.

Spring will be here before you know it. Take care!

Nope! These are the days of -30 and -40 wind chills. Probably wont see above zero for a couple more weeks, but not that much snow really. Less than 2 feet at this point, but we seem to get a little every day. Just enough to make you go outside and clean the walks and porch steps. You can only be out there for 15-20 min before frostbite starts but it seems like a major accomplishment. So far I've been pretty lucky with the vehicles starting, hope it continues. :worship:

Hey Cheri,
Hope you are healing up OK. Just take it easy and come back strong this summer. Keep in touch. All our best wishes. ;)

Feeling well enough to want to get back on my remodeling. Of bike and Taz. But I have 8 more days of restrictions. Then I have to be "sensible".
Looking for a better quality terminal block for 12 volt. Im thinking of, changing angle of PD4045. Turning it out to face rear of Taz. That will allow me to redo, shelf/ cabinet,ac & fridge and maybe make a closet, across front. Hopefully mount a heater too. And still allow access to PD4045. I think if I make bottom cabinet doors slide/or removable. A bikes front tire will still go up enough to haul 2 bikes.

Glad to hear you are feeling well enough to get back at it. What 12VDC Terminal Block did you have? I just put a new 12VDC Fuse block in that I really like a few weeks back. Posted some pics on my thread. Post a pic.

I'll get the "spare" out after church. I got 2 when I did my wiring. They are cheap flimsy and screws strip. But what I liked was you just strip insulation and insert, tighten screw. No rings or u(y?) terminals on wires.

Padilen, Howdy;

Good to see you posting again. Also good to hear that you are closer to a full release by the Doc.
Weather should (?), be getting better soon. Keep on taking it easy till the Doc says it's OK to get
back to nermal. Ya don't need to go through all this again, right?
 , soon,

Thanks, I'm in Michigan so we never count on good weather .

Ok here is the "extra" white terminal block. It is the type I like as it's just wire in and tighten screw. But these are cheaply made and break. As seen in photo, with the broke and missing pieces.
The black is the type I don't like as it needs a terminal on each wire.

What are you using the terminal block for? Assuming you have a 12VDC distribution in your PD4045? I have a 12VDC Distribution panel I took out of my CTC I can send you if that would be useful to you? I believe it has 9 Fused terminals and also has a ground terminal. You do not need ring connectors and can just put in the bare wires. It is like the one below.

Don,
Thanks for the offer but I just want a better quality terminal block.
Here is a pic of the one that I'm using.

Oh, OK. I see what you are doing. Yes, the one you had looks very flimsy. You may be better off just biting the bullet and crimp on some spade lugs and get a terminal strip for the spade lugs. The strip you showed a few threads back would do it.

Trying to face my power center out to the front. So wires may not reach. I did have some slack in most. But the ones I don't will be hard to redo. I'll take a pic when I run out to check boiler.
