 Laws of physics changed? Has to be them chemtrails. Nostradamas and Elvis predicted this! :frightened: Got my camo, ammo and my bug-out vehicle. Heading to Mojave to wait for the end and the UFO rescue. :worship:

...or maybe I'll just stay home and give my 9-month old granddaughter a taste of my oatmeal.

Jerry,

With that kind of ceiling insulation, your trailer could double as a recording studio! 8)

That tells me the ceiling insulation is doing it's job as insulation. :) But not doing a good job as a vapor barrier, which it is not. :( Vapor made it through to the inside face of the aluminum and it froze there when the outside temperature and aluminum skin was at or below freezing. Now the insulation is keeping the ice insulated from the interior warmth. The aluminum skin is not yet warm enough to thaw the ice on the inside. Eventually it will melt and then hopefully dry to the interior. But that could be iffy w/o some venting.

Yup. That's it.

P.S. Don't ya just hate it when the supernatural explanations just (pardon the pun) vaporize. I mean, <tic> like most believers, I really want to believe, but it just never works for long. Reality comes along and rains on the parade every time. Yeah, thanks loads Don and Ron.

Maybe your thermometer is off by a few degrees? Or, it reached 32 or below while you slept?

Jerry,

That shredded denim is going to retain moisture from your breathing all winter long. Mold is an issue, not to mention the increasing weight of the denim.

 A dehumidifier will save the situation.

Either or a combination thereof.

Condensation in an insulation that will absorb it adds a considerable mass. Once that mass near the outside freezes it takes a long time to thaw at 37 or even 40 degrees. Those are refrigerator temperatures. Think about how long it takes a block of ice to melt in your refrigerator. It isn't that it is freezing at 37 degrees, it's just that there is too much of it to immediately thaw at 37 degrees.

As others have mentioned.... vapor barrier, ventilation etc or mold will grow.
