Rainier70, Howdy;

Cindy, there are only a few streams where we can fish for them. But DG&F is working on cleaning
out some other s so that they can re-introduce them back to their Natural Homes. Mostly they
are going in after the wildfires and waiting a year or two for the ash and other not-so-good stuff
to filter out then create a 'Barrier' to keep any Browns and Rainbows from creating X's. They are
working on Willow Creek's barrier as we speak. Up by Snow lake off of State Road 159. Google Earth
search for Ben Lilly CG. N.M. Snow Lake is East of there and the barrier is between the 2.

Thanks for the info. I really like seeing the native trout expanding back into more of their range.

I like catching the bows, browns, and brookies, but not everywhere at the expense of the native trout. It's cool to see the different colors, patterns, and spots that they all have.

Enjoy your adventure when you get back up there!
