We had thought about painting an orange accent stripe on the exterior. Glad we didn't now  . Can't wait to see how next year goes.

Just in case anyone isn't familiar with a cassette toilet it is basically a permanently mounted Porta Potti. It's emptied by removing a portable tank that's accessed from the outside.

I really like that cassette toilet.

Where did you buy the cassette toilet/shower from? Can you post a link to the dealer?

WOW! where did you get that shower/toilet!?

the only thing holding me up from building a camper trailer is the waste systems... i just cant 'wrap my head around' how to deal with poop...

could you post links where you got it? what did you pay for it?

thanks for the inspiration :applause:

Thanks for the compliment. We haven't got to use it much this year but we're planning a two week trip for next month. The toilet/shower , along with many other items, came from a pop-up that had a tree fall on it. It wasn't worth fixing so I bought it for parts. The toilet had never been used so we decided to install it in our trailer. The toilet is a Thetford cassette toilet. It's basically a built-in porta potti with a shower base. The model I have is no longer available but they have new models.

These links are just for the toilet. I have never been able to find any information on the shower base online but they are made specifically for these toilets and used by many pop-up camper manufacturers.

As far as the price goes, I honestly couldn't tell you because it came from a pop-up. A few years ago, I replaced just the toilet section on a pop-up (they let it freeze) and remember being surprised at how much it was. I'm no longer in the RV business so i can't look it up for you but if you contact any RV dealer, they could give you a price.
I've noticed a lot of truck campers now come with the C-200 CW/S/CS. It's smaller than the unit I have. It would be a nice solution if you don't need the shower base depending on the price of course.
