Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

For those that have camped in campgrounds, what response have you received from other RVers?

I don't know that my wife is convinced going this route instead of a pop-up.

Ask her if she knows the "r" value of canvas on a cold night

we always have 1 or 2 people actually stop in to check ours out. so far they all think it's really neat idea.

Well, when you go to teardrop gatherings, you don't half to worry. Everyone knows what it's like!
They understand.

Honestly, I get mixed responses. People who appreciate custom work really like it even if it's not something that would work for them. Some ppl love it and some think I'm nuts. At the last NASCAR race we went to, I must of had 500 ppl over the weekend ask me if I had built it and if they could look inside. Directly across from us was one of my customers with a $600,000 Travel Supreme motorhome. As beautiful as it is, nobody asked them if they could look inside.

Pop-ups can be great fun when the weather is nice but they're equally as miserable when it's too hot, too cold or raining. A cargo conversion with awning and screen room would give you the best of both worlds.

I have camped in a popup and I would not own one. It was cold, snowed on us. The heater did keep us fairly warm, used most of one.

Camped at Keystone Camp Ground SP in Pennsylvania once and saw a lady who used her station wagon to haul her camping gear in making two trips. She became annoying with her music playing to loud but the day we were getting ready to leave she approached our site and asked where we were setting up our tent. I said what tent and then showed her our trailer set up. She assumed I brought the trailer just to bring my camping equipment which in her view at least was a tent.
