I picked up a 2005 Haulmark CUB this weekend. It will need repainted the white paint is pretty bad and it was used commercial to haul items to shows. When I peel the letters and phone number off you can still see the outline real well. The Interior is like new and the tires have plenty of tread. It also came with a spare.
Looking forward to the project. It has the double doors and side door.

Try getting some rubing compound Or even mothers brand polish with a little grit to it. Then get a good polisher. I have one made by makita with a wool pad on it. I took the letter and signage off my trailer and polished it right up. If it does not work then you can paint. Oh i also used a citrus based cleaner and razor blade to remove the glue under it. It may help to use a hair dryer when pulling the sticker off. It heats the glue.

Congrats!! We just got back from 2 great weeks camping in our conversion. It was definitely worth the time it took to build.
What are your plans for your conversion?

Pictures are out favorite things besides camping, you know!
Nobody has a worse paint job than ours, I'm sure. Old lettering, not removed well, and painted over. Not high on our priority list. We are just happy not to be sleeping on the ground.
What design ideas do you have?

After camping in pop ups for the past ten years, I am really enjoying my cargo conversion. I am much drier, and with the kitchen in the back, I just open the barn doors, and there it all is! Hope you have as much fun as I am having!

Added Pictures and I did try a little cleaning wax on the paint and it did bring it back to a shine. I will try some rubbing compound and see how it turns out. Thanks for the tip "Arizona Guide"

WOW it did work great for you. Looks brand new now. I learned this the hard way. The front left side of mine has got permenant letters you can see. I used a harder chem on it to remove the goo. Bad idea. After finding the rubbing compuond the rest of the trailer went great and looks new. I also learned that when I start my company back up i willnot put lettering on my next work trailers for this fact. it was a waist of about 1000 dollars to put them on this one when i used it for work.

Your trailer does look new! You are lucky the previous owner did not do that before putting it up for sale. You probably would have had to pay a lot more!
