Wow! That's innovative! Reminds me of the first 5x8 motorcycle hauler with a shallow kitchen up front that I saw and that inspired me to get a cargo trailer.

Do you pull the hot water heater off before you trailer your rig?

Posted: Sun Aug 30, 2009 8:32 pmMy wife and I love the hot water on demand! The only problem I have had with it so far was at the Outer Banks, the wind was blowing about 30-40mph and it blew it out a few times. However if you turn the water off and back on again it relights! Other than that its perfect and we can take nice long showers!! The heater is permanetly mounted to the front of the trailer so no need to take it off and put it back on!

It gets pretty cold in your neck of the woods. Do you have a furnace or anything for heat?

Posted: Mon Aug 31, 2009 8:40 amHeater is on the left mounted to the wall, it is supplied from the front LP tank! I haven't used it in the colder months yet so hopefully it does the job! Only one way to find out!

When I first saw your Dometic unit I thought it was one of the ice boxes that looks like a refrigerator. No outside venting seems to support that idea. But the picture with the door open looks like there is an evaporator at the top. Or am I seeing it wrong?
