I am comftable towing a 25 Travel trailer, 24ft boat and such. Does a basic 6 X 8 tow any different than these other trailers, besides the obvious of lighter. thanks Tomm

A 6X8 tows like a matchbox car compared to a 25' TT or 24' boat, which are both "loads" in comparison. You will hardly know a 6X8 is even back there with the same vehicle. Much tighter turning radius too.

Just find an open area and practice backing and turning as that shorter trailer behaves different.

Ditto what Ageless said. Going forward is piece of cake. Backing up it, is about 10 more responsive. If you are used to towing longer rigs it takes a littlle getting used to. The problem is that it is too easy. The experience tower will get the hang of it in a few minutes. This is another thing I like about my 5x8.
