I thought folks might be interested in viewing pictures of my recent cargo conversion. Please click on my album to see the project progression. Some features of the trailer include:

1. A full sized bed with a comfortable mattress.
2. Ample storage in the galley cabinets.
3. A decent refrigerator under the galley countertop.
4. A large (2x6) storage drawer that hides under the bed when not in use.
5. A sliding twin bed that hides when not in use.

I got a lot of ideas from posts on this site and adapted them to our needs. Thanks!

I like it too. I don't have time for a cargo conversion, though I'd like to do one some day in the future.

What made you decide to put the bed toward the back and the galley at the front? I think I would have done it the other way around. I also think I would have gone for a bed that can be converted into a couch.

Jason and Amanda,

Having camped in a tent and slept on a thin thermarest on the ground for 20 years, we decided that our number one priority was a very comfortable bed. So, we opted for a permanent mattress over a convertible couch.

I wanted to have access to the storage drawer from the rear, so that is where I placed the bed. It also made sense in regard to the placement of the side entrance door.

I gotcha, that's the beauty of custom! Every single one of us would do it differently.

Have any pictures with the bed made and all that?

I love the way you incorporated the twin bed. It can be extra storage when not being used.
