Just messin' with ya I knew !

( But she is cute ! )

The kitchen witch is supposed to be a good witch that keeps foods from burning , baked goods from sticking , and cakes from falling. Maybe we should start a new tiny trailer tradition "The Galley witch" :laughter:

"Nothing spills, nothing spoils
Overcooks or overboils
This kitchen witch upon her broom
Brings love and luck to any room!"

The tiny trailer vesion

Nothing spills, nothing spoils
Overcooks or overboils
This kitchen witch who's name is Sally
Brings love and luck to any galley.

I know I am off topic and out of control again !

I will go stand in the corner now !

Are these options that you can get on the cargo trailer from the manufacturer? - If so I say go for it - then start mapping out what you want for the interior

I too have a list I want 2 vents with 12 & 120 volts run to each
just incase I ever install a power vent or want to add and air conditioner.
I would get 2 vents seems like over kill but you never know
easier now than later.

I bought a Pace Journey 5x8 last year for my project. The 5 foot wide is nice because it tows well and you
can see around it with your standard mirrors. I replaced the dome light with LEDs and put in my own door
and window. You may want to take off the inside wood when you get it and put in rigid insulation before you
do much else. It isn't hard to take it off and put it back on. The extra 12 inches height will give you close to a
full standup. I put in a closed cell foam soft lid for extra insulation and to keep me from bashing my head on
the ramp door hardware. I love having the ramp door for loading up a 150 pound telescope.

The electric brakes are a great safety feature that will help if you load it up on weight. I wish I had the brakes
on mine. I avoid towing in the mountains until I get some installed.

How tall is to tall on a 5x8. I am torn and cant finalize my order.

My 5x8 Pace Journey has a 6" height upgrade. I found that enough that I didn't have to bend over except
at the door. I am 5' 11" and I can just tip my head down. It is about 5' 6" from floor to metal roof supports.
The ramp door of course is lower. The inside height doesn't effect me to much except for when loading
or unloading stuff. I wouldn't want to have to stoop too low when I am carrying or wheeling in a heavy
load. Once in the trailer, I am usually sitting at the desk or laying on the mattress.

You may wish to measure the height of your tow vehicle and figure out how much higher your trailer will be.
The extra high profile will affect your towing performance some.

Unless you are going to cook inside, you might consider doing without the extra 12". It will make a difference towing and storing. My 5x8x5 just barely fits in my garage with a roof vent.

...and then there's the side wind issue too. That jumbo height is not good with that narrow of a wheel spread. The lower the better for safety on the road. It looks so tall that even if a big rig passed you going fast that the left tire could come off the road from the air shock unless you had a lot of weight on the floor of the trailer, and maybe even then.
