Side door questions

What is the best way to put a window and regular RV door latch in a side door?

Hello - Not sure about the window, but some time ago I asked the same question about a door handle on here, and got a great reply with pics and everything. Made the install a snap. I'm not sure how to post it for you, but if you go to my page and look at all of my posts on my page 6 look at the ones maked "door handle". Hope that helps.

Thanks, that will be a big help in getting the door latch in. Now I need to see how to put the window in. I have an idea how but would like pick the brain of someone who has done it. While I have to door off I might as well get it all done at the same time.

It sounds like you're not too far from me in Hershey. I just did the very conversion you want to do, so feel free to contact me and stop down. It isn't hard; the only thing that surprised me was that the door was partially hollow where I put the window. I needed to make some internal braces, but other than that it was fairly straighforward.
