I see most of your trailers are 16" on center support members. I'm looking at a trailer now that is 24" on center. Pro's/Con's??
I know it will be a little lighter but not as strong. Will it be strong enough??
Just interested in your thoughts

What size trailer is it and who made it if I might ask? Just because it is set up on 24" centers don't mean it is a cheap made trailer. Somewhere some engineer factored in what was needed to carry a specific load and it could mean what ever is attached to these ribs is heavier and the ribs themselves could be a little stronger. However, sometimes things on paper and what is reality are two different things.
Most of the time the skin they use on these things is so darn thin they have to go 16 on center, maybe they are using something a little thicker.
Figured it out

So its a Haulmark trailer but I read a little more and figured out that it was the ceiling and the floor that were 24" and the walls were 16". Ended up changing the ceiling to 16" for snowloading here in CO.
Thanks!

I have a haulmark too. Mine is a 8.5X24 and everything in mine is 16 OC. They are solid trailers and should last a long time for you. Just service the axles once a year and keep the air pressure up in the tires and keep on trucking.

Most of the trailers I looked at or called about were 24" OC both floor and walls. I'm sure they would have worked for me just fine but it wasn't much to have them 16 oc so I went that way.
