You guys ever think of using an aluminum tube frame bed with webbing ... Very thin , taking up less wall space than a mattress..

Light !
For my "camping" needs , a webbed frame with a thin foam cushion and a sleeping bag would be fine ... easily cleaned replaced too !!! Since they wouldn't take up much thickness on the wall , you could put one on each side and have a pass through in between , eliminating any crawling over anybody to get up in the middle of the night . Just an idea !!
On the other hand maybe just a couple of these folders ???

Apologies, Just a bit paranoid of real mattresses ... I've had them in vans in the past , and when someone spills "her" drink on it

Then It's a big mess ... drag the whole thing out , clean it , dry it , put it back .... been there ...grrrrr!!!!!
Nice Drawings Jo !!!
