Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Look at what I found!!

Found this trailer in the next town, 25miles away sitting at a used car lot. It was built for a Beer Distributor, they had kegs of beer inside, totally insulated and a drain and water tank underneath. They ran lines from the kegs to a bar to serve beer at events. Only has a door over the tongue, (Weird) but it's a tandem to carry all those heavy kegs! Just needs a fender on one side. Inside dimensions.. 5' 9" wide by 9"6" long by 6" 3" high.
What do y'all think for $900

No  Unfortunately it's empty :x

At least I won't have the expense of insulating it. Would like to have another door somewhere

Well, it was not in as good a shape as the owner stated! Alot of rust, 3 bad tires, the door on front didn't seal and was rotted inside and the floor was diamond plate steel! The holding tank was broken up badly! I passed! :x

the last thing you want is trouble down the road with repairs and they are bound to happen at the worst time like on a trip?
that's why I bought a new trailer, unless your lucky and find something like new but used or better know the person selling it you don't know?

The one thing I learned was to take your time and keep looking it's a buyers market, keep looking on Ebay when you search just put in the miles from your area.
also keep looking on Craigs list, although I have my trailer I still look for the fun it and all kind of things come up for sale on there.
I was looking today and there was a nice work and play toyhauler 18ft for 6.500 and it's already sold= it's not on there now?
I wanted to build my own but that was a deal I probably have more than that in mine and it had a roof air and a awning those things are loaded and he said in the AD they never used the bath room they always used the camp grounds.
I was just about to buy a E2000 honda generator on Ebay when I searched on Craigs list and found 1 for 600 dollars he had 2 and had just sold the other the day before or I would have bought them both, went down and he cranked it up and watched it run while we talked he also gave me a cable to lock it up with.
another thing if there is a phone number call it ASAP don't rely on Email.

This one just came up I wonder how long it will last,?

Having said all that you can buy new one's on Ebay for what people want for used ones.?

Went and picked up the 5x10 today!! :applause:

It's got Luan on walls and ceiling...will have to replace that on the walls before I can build anything that attaches to the walls. A friend of mine who's a new construction electrician said he would wire the whole trailer for me!!
Things are just about to come together!
Only thing I don't like about it is the 13" tires/wheels. Pulls at 70mph without any problems. Will keep the forum updated as work get's started!!
