Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

After a big rain today I was in my trailer and I found a drip so I have a leak some where,?
It was getting late so I got out my ladder and climbed up and I couldn't see well but I couldn't see a hole in the roof.
I am not sure if I should pull down the the paneling and insulation and try and find the hole or just paint on some type roofing material sealer made for trailers?
do they make some type of roof sealer that would do the job?
I will have to take a look during the day and see what I can find out.
I am thinking of putting in a roof AC so I may try and do it all at one time.
any ideas?

Best I can say is try to find where the leak is coming in at and then repair with Eternabond tape. Good stuff!

I might mention that if Eternabond tape is what you need, and most likely it is, you can find it online from other sellers for considerably less money than buying it directly from the Eternabond website i.e., Google it.

Most RV shops have rolls of repair tape. Not sure if its what d30gaijin posted or not but I used some after a broken tree branch impaled itself thru our roof. Just slapped that on the hole was still water tight after 3 years of use.

jwhite you didn't say exactly where the drip was.

I have found leaks sometimes are far from where the drip shows up.

Roof vents, antennas, AC units are known to leak, anything mounted to the roof.

I was lucky and found that I had a hole that was made when I was putting up the paneling on the inside, the kid that was helping drilled through the metal beam and the roof.
it will be a easy fix.
I had another hole that made the same way and I put a little 5-minute epoxie in the hole and used some of the black gorilla tape to patch over the hole.

Good deal on finding the cause of your leak.

if your fix worked once no reason to think it won't work again.
