Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Has anyone used a concession trailer for camping?? Seem like would let in a LOT of light.

I have looked at one that has the upward swinging concession side (acts like a roof) on the sidewalk side. Seems this would be good to place a sliding window (with screen). Then could have good view outside while keeping "no-seeums" out.

Any thoughts, concerns??

windows and screens would indeed let in light as well as provide plenty of cross ventalation.

You could sell corndogs, cotton candy and elephant ears to all the teardropers. I know from experience they can eat.

The thing about food concession trailers generally is that they have to have all the health department specifications in place for serving food to crowds, like three-basin sinks, white washable walls, lots of cleanable stainless steel bits and so on. (Doesn't apply to alternate vending -- parts, track day memorabilia, etc, I was thinking food vending.)

No reason why you can't specify concession trailer attributes that make your CT conversion more useful to you though. And of course you can always convert anything into a camper if you work at it. I would imagine it would be hard to keep it health-department certified if the sleeping areas/personal wash areas weren't specifically kept separate from the food prep areas.

I use my trailer to haul outdoor movie night equipment (screen, projector, speakers, generator, tables, popcorn machine, etc.) when we don't use it for camping. I didn't think of it when we ordered the trailer, but in hindsight a concession window in the side wouldn't have compromised the other uses, but would have let us vend popcorn from the side (unofficially.) Might make it easier to unload the trailer too.
