Brace for Scooter

Here is a brace we made to hold our Burgman 650cc Scooter. Straps did not work since our bed prevented us from placing them perpendicular to the scooter body.

You have straps on the front?

I just don't see that being strong enough I'd hate to see it break, loosen up, or cause damage to your scoot. I wouldn't feel comfortable using that setup but that's me.

My wife has a burgman 650 as well I just run a strap thru the back wheel and the strap goes out and back at a 45% angle. The front wheel is in a chock with 2 straps around the lower triple tree going out at a 45% angle.

Front wheel is in a chalk with strap keeping it firmly in place. There is one strap holding the brace down, very firmly. Two small wooden blocks keep the rear tire from moving side-to-side. The setup is very secure and a whole lot faster to setup and take down than a strap system. We have not had any problem with this system when we did one test of it from Savannah Georgia back to Alabama, about 8 hours on the road.
