Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I found this site a few days ago and I'm sure like many of you I couldn't stop looking at all the awesome CTC's. I have lived in houses big and small, rangeing from a 4000sqf house to a 22ft terry camper. I currently live in a 31ft Terry camper and find myself only "living" in the front 14ft. After looking at every page of the CTC forum and visiting a local PACE CT factory(they are literally next door to where I work), I'm pretty well decided on a 6x10 single axel CT with barn doors and a side door. Was wondering if you experts wouldn't mind critiqueing my plan. Thanks. It is the only pic currently in my album.

no bathroom?
If I were building a trailer to "live" out of vs. just camp in, I would definitely have a bathroom and shower. Other than that the layout looks clean, well organized, and very functional.

You may want to rethink the size of your trailer (depending on your height). A bed mounted horizontal, the way you have shown, might be a little crowded. Maybe a 7' wide would be a better choice with your plans as a twin mattress is 6'3" long and a queen 6'8".

welcome not a critique just wanted to let you know what I want and why.

I want a 7X12 Vee nose single or double doesn't matter.
I want to be able to have two folding bunks running forward and aft with a small space between them
so no one has to craw over the other getting out of bed a six foot wide CT isn't six foot inside a seven foot wide one is 6' 6" wide inside.
I like the vee nose area for a counter, sink, microwave & cabinets.
a ramp rear door so I can load my (our) mobility scooters.
of course a trailer side door with screen couple of side windows couple of roof vents that can be converted to hold an AC.
extra 120 lights in side and some 12 volt lights inside and out
BUT if a 6X10 suites your needs you have come to right place for ideas and help on any problem you might run up against.

I am only 5'7'' so I was hoping that a 6' would accomodate me. As for a bathroom and shower, I may have been a little hazy on how I was intending to use the camper. I work seasonaly for 4 to 5 months a year then spend the rest of the year on the oregon coast, seattle area or north idaho(family). It would be just myself and my 7 year old daughter and possibly a friend now and again. I don't know if I like the idea of using the restroom inside such a small area(odors? ) and as for showers and staying "fresh" I have had success with the "baby wipes" while on extended stays in the woods, so was going to try that route. Thanks for the insight so far. If I am mistaken about the "restroom odor" in such a small area please feel free to correct me.

I guess that really depends on what you had to eat that day....

but really I dont know, perhaps someone who has a bathroom can add some insight. Its definitly something to consider.

that's what shower stalls and portapotties are for with a fantastic fan above.
I've not done it yet but that's the plan.

Roofvent with a fan handles the odor.. With a 10' trailer you probably don't really have room for a bathroom though.. I had a 6x14 toy hauler with a front bathroom that worked great for a couple people.. The bathroom only took up about a 36"x36" area in the front corner.. But had a shower, toilet and sink in it.. Was also pretty roomy compared to most RV bathrooms..
To each his own.. Most of the small trailers on here with no bathroom are people who either take short trips or stay in camp grounds with bath houses. One of our main reason for building a camper was to have our own bathroom. Here is some pictures of my old trailer
