BBQ competion trailer...Would like to hear your thoughts.

I have been lurking here for several months...and like what I have seen. You guys are a wealth of info!
Here are my thoughts:
>8.5wX7.5hX24long
>Flat nose...with a twist that I will explain later.
>Ramp rear door.
>8 foot back porch with sides that raise up kinda like concession window on a vending trailer. This is where my smokers will be transported and cooked on. I use Stumps Smokers. They are unique smokers and are very safe. Don't worry about the fire hazard.
>back porch will be walled off from the rest of the trailer. A door will be in this wall. This will give me 16' of kitchen/living space.
>Flat nose with a twist...I will have the manufacturer build a "bump out" on the front of the flat nose. It will be the width of the trailer and from the ceiling down will be about 4'. It will stick out over the tongue about 2'-6". Underneath the bump out I will mount a aluminium truck bed tool box. The "bump out" will will be my bunk( after I add 12 inches of width to the inside).
>I plan on the back 5-6 feet of the inside 16' to be kitchen/prep area. The remaining space upfront will be living/sleeping area. It will also have a shower.( All BBQ comps have porta potties)
> hot water via Eco-temp propane water heater.
> 120v electric to start...12v later(maybe)
> I have a 2004 chev 2500 Duramax diesel that I have pulled a 38' 5th wheel with a 17 aquasport behind(I know its not legal
).... This 24 footer should be a breeze.
> The ramp will become a back deck.
> side door, passenger side.
> I have a wire welder and can make a real big mess with it in a hurry!
> I have a Bro-n-law that is a dang good carpenter, lectrician and plumber!
> The manufacturer will finish out the back porch with the same metal on the inside that is on the outer skin of the unit. The front inside will be unfinished so I can do my own electrical and plumbing.
> need some advice on holding tanks for the shower and sink. I can spec out that the manufacturer space a section of the floor any width I need to allow for the holding tank. Normal is 16"oc. I was thinking 20" for the tank.
Whew! Sorry for the long post.
All ideas, criticism and support is welcome. I hope to have the unit by mid september so I can cook out of it in october(partially finished, of course).
Thanks in advance for reading and posting replys.
Mike
