Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

As I approach the final work on my cargo conversion, I would like to thank you all for the great help this forum has been in helping me to complete the task. Looking forward to my first trip hopefully very soon. Will post final pics when I'm done. Thanks again to everyone. My trailer is 68" wide and 116" to the V-nose with a 3 ft V nose. I will have a plywood bed across the back to the bench with a fold up table under the plywood. I started in May 2011 and hopefully will be done by the end of the month. Thanks to my Dad for all his help. Finally finished this summer 2012 other than putting in the A/C. Now planning out a 5x8 smaller trailer to start this spring.

The pics in your album look great. Really like the look of the carpeted walls!

Nice job one you and your dad can be proud of,
I like to see sons and daughters working with their parents be it a cargo trailer or what ever presents it's self
I lost my dad a long time ago he was way too young I still miss him.

I am puzzled as to where your AC is located could you expand a little about it's install where and how?

Hi Pete,
The A/C is located on a shelf behind the wall. I will box in the back side exhaust of the unit and have a 12" x 12" door that I will install in the top section of the nose of the trailer. Then I can open the exhaust door when using the A/C. I hope this works. The unit will be drawing air from the trailer into the intakes on the sides and tops. I hope the unit will be able to run cool enough with this setup.

What a beautiful well thought out CT conversion. Thank you for posting pictures to inspire the rest of us in our builds. You've posted lots of great ideas, some of which I intend to borrow.

What material did you use for the final wall paneling on the inside of your CT? It looks great! I am getting close to paneling my CT conversion but am undecided on what to go with at this point.

Again, a beautiful conversion that I thank you for sharing with us. Please post more pictures as you get the chance... and a hat tip to your Dad.
